Crafting with Cutters Challenge #130 BOOKS

Hello everyone! Today is another fun challenge over at  CRAFTING WITH CUTTERS  and it is all about books or libraries as this is National Library Week.  If any of you have followed me for any length of time, you know that I love mini books so I thought a mini book would be a perfect way to keep with this week's theme! I chose to make a simple paper bag mini book: Here are a few pics of the assembly process: Adhere folded small ends together. Attach all sections together. Cover pages with patterned scrapbook paper. Punch holes through all layers. Thread ribbon through the holes and..... Tie in front. I used TBBM to cut some various shaped tags to use in the pockets of the album. A couple of views from the side. Paper bag mini books are so much fun to make and it is so easy to be creative with them!  Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to head over to  CRAFTING WITH CUTTERS  to see mo...

Magnetic Learning Boards

Hello everyone! Happy Thursday!  Today I have the privilege of sharing with everyone over at  SHE'S A SASSY LADY  and  CRICUT IS CLOSE TO MY HEART ! I made these magnetic learning boards for our two oldest grandsons for Christmas but have not had the chance to share them yet, so here they are: I was so busy making these before Christmas that I didn't even take pictures as I was doing each step! Sorry! :-(  At any rate, here is my "recipe":  Cricut Imagine Blast Off cartridge Fabric fat quarters Provo Craft Your Story laminating machine button magnets Mod Podge Metal cookie sheet I started by covering my cookie sheets with two different fat quarter pieces that I picked up at Joann's. Next, I printed and cut 2 of each letter, number and shape. I took one of each and glued them to my fabric-covered cookie sheet with Mod Podge, being sure to completely cover them. I took the next set and laminated them using my Your Story. Aft...

My Papercrafting World Challenge #128 - Rain

Hello everyone! Today's  Craft with Cutters challenge over at  MY PAPERCRAFTING WORLD  is all about April Showers! I chose to make a simple Get Well Card using my new cloud embossing folder from Darice, Cricut Art Philosophy and Liquid Glass from CTMH.   The scalloped card and label are cut from Art Philosophy. Love this folder!  I just brushed the raised edges of the clouds with some white ink. I used Liquid Glass from CTMH for the rain drops.  I LOVE this stuff! It looks wet when it's dry! Perfect for rain drops! Another look at the finished card: Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to stop over at  MY PAPERCRAFTING WORLD  to link up your own creation showcasing RAIN!

Baby Shower Banner and Centerpiece

Hello everyone! So excited to share here and over at  SHE'S A SASSY LADY  today! We had a diaper drop baby shower for my daughter-in-law over the weekend so I just had to try out my newest cartridge from Creative Memories - Tiny Treasures! This is an awesome cartridge and if you don't already have a CM consultant, feel free to stop by my website ------> HERE   to order this or any of our other amazing cartridges! Here are pics of my finished projects and then I'll give more details. I used the Cricut Craft Room to cut everything! I usually use my Gypsy but they haven't added Tiny Treasures in an update yet! I'm actually glad, though, because this is the first big project I've done in the Cricut Craft Room and I really loved it! Just as easy as my Gypsy, but a bigger screen! Yay! For anyone who wants it, I have included the Cricut Craft Room file at the end of this post for your personal use. When the Gypsy is updated, I will update this post with the...
