Happy Birthday Centerpiece

Hi, everyone! Today I am sharing a little Thursday inspiration with you and everyone over at SHE'S A SASSY LADY !  I am always making centerpieces as gifts for people. I like to think of them more as paper bouquets! :-)  I made this one for a co-worker and she was amazed that I made it! (I just didn't tell her how easy it really was!) :-)  I used several different cartridges like Sweet Treats, Birthday Bash, Birthday Cakes and Celebrate. I simply cut my images out at the size I thought would look best and attached them to wood skewers and stuck them in a foam block inside a mason jar.  I used tissue paper to hide the foam block! So easy! Thanks for stopping by today!!

Birthday Party Decorations

Happy Thursday, everyone! It's my turn to share over at  SHE'S A SASSY LADY  today! As you know, if you read my post from last week, our Sethy turned 2 so I just had to make a few decorations to add to his party!  I used the Art Philosophy, Boys Will Be Boys, B is for Boy and Birthday Bash Cricut cartridges. These are from Birthday Bash and are cut at 10.5". The pennant shape is from Art Philosophy. The train and truck are from Boys Will Be Boys. I made the rosettes by hand using my scoreboard.  Some close-ups. I made mini flags to put on the cake. Our daughter-in-law made an adorable race track cake that was a big hit! Here is the birthday boy eating one of his favorite treats: Watermelon! :-) Love him so much!! Thanks for stopping by today! Be sure to stop by  SHE'S A SASSY LADY  too, to see all the crafty goodness that goes on there!

Sample card for Today's Gypsy Made Simple challenge

Hello everyone!! Happy Saturday!! Today I am posting my take on Sheila's tri-fold card tutorial that she is sharing today over at  She's a Sassy Lady  .  She was so great and designed a tri-fold card for those who don't have the new Expression2. (There is a pre-loaded cartridge on the new E2 that has a tri-fold card feature on it.)  You can receive her Gypsy file for this card by visiting her blog and making any size donation to help the Alabama tornado victims. If you have never downloaded a file for your Gypsy, it is simply a file with all of the cuts already on the mats for you.  If you don't have the cartridges that she used in the original file, she also made one as a template so you can choose your own images from cartridges that you own! This is just so cool!! Be sure to head over to her blog and view her awesome videos that will show you how she made this file and to make a card of your own and link it to her post! Now, on to my card! This is the ba...
