Happy Birthday Centerpiece

Hi, everyone! Today I am sharing a little Thursday inspiration with you and everyone over at SHE'S A SASSY LADY !  I am always making centerpieces as gifts for people. I like to think of them more as paper bouquets! :-)  I made this one for a co-worker and she was amazed that I made it! (I just didn't tell her how easy it really was!) :-)  I used several different cartridges like Sweet Treats, Birthday Bash, Birthday Cakes and Celebrate. I simply cut my images out at the size I thought would look best and attached them to wood skewers and stuck them in a foam block inside a mason jar.  I used tissue paper to hide the foam block! So easy! Thanks for stopping by today!!

Baby Shower Time and this time IT'S A GIRL!!!

So, I have thoroughly enjoyed creating decorations for my grandsons' baby showers - all 4 of them! But now we have added a granddaughter to our family and I am thrilled to make some girly decorations!!! Today it's my turn to share over at  SHE'S A SASSY LADY  so I just had to share my excitement there too! Be sure to check out Sheila's blog for awesome, daily inspiration!!  I decided to make a big centerpiece in a basket. Here is what I came up with: Here are some close-ups: I got all the various cuts from Cricut Cartridges. I can't seem to remember them all but I know I used Creative Memories Tiny Treasures, Cricut Lite Sugar and Spice, Baby Steps, Cricut Lite Cupcakes and Sweet Treats. There are so many great images to choose from that I just had to pick a bunch!! I also wrote on a chalkboard sign:  I also made a little snowflake banner that can be hung up in her room! I attached the snowflakes to the dowel...

Cookie Sheet Mini album / Home Decor piece

Hello everyone!! It's my turn again to be a guest designer at  She's a Sassy Lady  !! I decided to use an actual cookie sheet to showcase these great pictures of our niece and my mother-in-law baking cookies! This project was a little challenging since I haven't been home to my craft room since June 30th! We are traveling with my husband where he works so I made this project in our hotel room using the limited amount of craft supplies that I brought with me! These Club Ruby kits are perfect to take with me because they contain so many wonderful elements!  I was able to use my Mom's Cricut when we made a quick trip to Ohio! Yay!! I had my cuts all designed on my Gypsy so that made it really easy!!  I also used Paper Layerz for some of the cuts! This paper is awesome!!  To check out this paper click  HERE! Here it is all done and folded up! Now I'll go into more detail as to how each element was created. I started with a 10.5"x15.5" cookie sheet. I just l...

First Birthday Mini Album

My husband's nephew's daughter recently turned 1 so I am sending this mini for them to put some 1st Birthday pics in!  This album is also featured over at  Cricut Mini Albums  .  I used the file folder album from Fabulous Finds and cut it at 6.18"H. That seems to be my "go-to" cartridge when I want to make a "from-scratch" mini! I also used the Sweet Treats, Robotz, Storybook and Birthday Cake cartridges in this project.  The printed cardstock is from the K and Company stack called Confetti. (Love this stack!) If anyone has any specific questions about cuts or sizes or whatever, feel free to leave a comment and I will get back to you.
