FAMILY IS EVERYTHING!

Hello everyone! This is my spot to share here and over at  SHE'S A SASSY LADY ! I have chosen to share a frame I made to announce to everyone how I really feel! :-) The phrase is from the Teresa Collins Sophisticated Cricut cartridge. The camera cut-out and "memories" are from Cheerful seasons. Some close-ups: I hot-glued buttons to the edge of the frame to hold up the twine to hang the images and phrases on.  I added some Stickles to the corners of the frame as a finishing touch! Thanks so much for stopping by today!

CWC Challenge #118 - Wintery Fun

Welcome to another Wednesday Challenge over at  CRAFT WITH CUTTERS ! This week's challenge is all about fun things we do in the winter! Nothing speaks "winter fun" to me more than a snowman so I made a fun card with an adorable snowman from the Cricut cartridge Snow Friends. (Love that cartridge!) Can't get much easier than this - I just dressed it up with some Stickles and my white gel pen!  Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to stop over at  CRAFT WITH CUTTERS  to create and link up your own projects that showcase Wintery Fun for a chance to win a great prize!

Cooking With Cricut Challenge #84 - Teacher Appreciation Projects

Happy Wednesday, everyone! Welcome to another fun challenge over at  COOKING WITH CRICUT  ! This week's challenge is all about teachers! We all made something that we could give to a special teacher in our lives.  I chose a home decor piece - a frame that I took the glass out of and framed a sentiment. My particular project doesn't have a school "feel" to it so it could easily be adapted to a different special someone who isn't a teacher. I used the Florals Embellished Cricut cartridge and cut this and the layer at 4.18". I wrapped some lace ribbon around the backing before putting it back in the frame, tied a bow and stuck some stick pins through the bow and glued some paper flowers to them. Easy, huh? :-)  I embellished the frame, the image and the paper flowers with Stickles and Liquid Pearls! I use these all the time!  Here are some close-ups: Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to head over to  COOKING WITH CRICUT  to link...

Princess minibook

For our niece's 8th birthday, I made her a princess minibook!  It was so much fun! I used a chipboard book that I got at Michael's for $1!  I used 4 cricut cartridges: Once Upon a Princess, Sweet Treats, Paisley and Going Places.  I will list the cartridge and then the cuts from that cartridge. ONCE UPON A PRINCESS:      - crown letters on front cover - 1.24"H      - pull up tag behind some of the pictures - 2.88"H      - butterfly - 1.82"H      - crown - 1"H SWEET TREATS:      - flower and center - 1.24"H      - cupcake and layers - 1.24"H      - number 8 on back cover - 4.30"H PAISLEY:      - shoes and layers - 1.24"H      - necklace - 1.71"H GOING PLACES:      - Smile - 1.24"H The papers that I used for covering the chipboard pages is from a big "The Best of K and Co." paper pad. Of course, I used some sti...

Bridal Shower Name Tags

I had a request from a friend for 100 name tags for a bridal shower so I went to my trusty Cricut once again!  I used the Hannah Montana cartridge and cut the diamond and the layers at 2.47"H.  The bride's name tag had to, of course, be bigger and have more bling so it was cut at 3.63"H. "the Bride" is cut at 1.42"H. Stickles and gems make the bride's tag look really sweet!! Having a Gypsy and Cricut helped me finish this job in no time!
