Happy Thursday, everyone! Today I am sharing the tags I made for our Sassy Designers tag swap this past Christmas! I'm also sharing them over at SHE'S A SASSY LADY  because it's my turn over there!  I had planned on posting this months ago but it has been a crazy couple of months, with moving into a new house and starting a new job! At any rate, here is a pic of the finished tags and then I'll share some step-by-step pics. Cricut cartridges used: Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 - Tag, 6.25"H CTMH Artbooking ----> ornament overlay- 5.12"H,  ornament medallion - 2"H,  and snowflake - 1.75"H Here are the tag and overlay cuts before adhering them together. I stamped my blog stamp and signed the back of each one before finishing them so I wouldn't mess anything up on the other side. :-) Here is a trick I used to get an even coating of adhesive for the glitter to adhere to. Today I am showcasing a tag that I made for a tag swap back in December.  I chose to use all purple and used glitter and gems to bling it up! Now to break down the process I used to create these tags: I used TBBM 2 for the kraft paper tag and inked the edges with a purple ink. I chose lots of shimmery purple papers! Here is the tag cut out with the solid layer and the filigree layer that was cut from Paper Lace. The filigree layer up close. I just ran these through the xyron sticker maker to adhere them to the solid layer.  Since the sticker maker sometimes leaves some sticky residue, I used it to my advantage by adding some glitter in those spots!  I apparently don't have a pic of the snowflake by itself so here it is on the finished tag. This snowflake is cut from the CTMH Artiste cartridge, as is the little label in the middle of it. I finished the tag off with some bling on the edges of the snowflake and some ribbon! It's my turn to do a cartridge showcase over at  COOKING WITH CRICUT  ! I chose this cartridge because it has so much to offer, (and there is  sooooo much to learn!) I really do love this cartridge, but I have to tell you, there is a bit of a learning curve in using the scoring tool that is designed to work with this cartridge.  This is definitely something I will have to take more time working on!
