My Card Class

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing this same post over at  SHE'S A SASSY LADY . Be sure to stop over there daily to see all the crafting inspiration that goes on there!!  Recently I introduced a card class that I am offering in my home and I thought I would share the 3 types of cards here. I kept the designs simple to make it easy for participants to assemble. I'm keeping some of these cards on hand for when I need a quick card!  In my class, participants will be making 5 of each card. Thank You, Get Well and Happy Birthday. This is one of my favorite cards because the embossed layer gets ripped and then adhered with the Cricut bandages adhered on top of that! Isn't it fun?? The birthday cards are fun because I picked 5 different colors for the stamped layer and added an embossed layer. I think the participants will have fun learning these simple but impressive techniques!  If anyone local to me would like to take this class, please get in to...

Cooking With Cricut Challenge #104 - Texture

Welcome to another fun challenge Wednesday here and over at  COOKING WITH CRICUT ! This week is all about texture which is so great to add to your projects! Texture kicks everything up a notch or two! :-) I made a birthday card and added texture by using the birthday cuttlebug folder and then sanding it to show the contrasting color on the inside.  I also used the Walk In My Garden cartridge for the die cut on the front. Although this is a simple and quick way to add texture, it is still very effective in making your card or project pop!  Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to stop over at  COOKING WITH CRICUT  to participate in this week's challenge by linking up your own textured project for the chance at a great prize!
