Welcome to another challenge over at  EXPLORING CRICUT AND MORE ! This challenge is all about you, the crafter! You can choose to do any sort of project - just include a patterned paper and a plain paper! The possibilities are endless! I chose an elegant "LOVE" card! I used the Storybook Cricut cartridge for the purple decorative corner on the front. "Love" is a rub-on and I used some gem brads and Stickles to bling it up a bit! New Challenge at Exploring Cricut! Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Well, it's time for another challenge over at  EXPLORING CRICUT  and this time we are sharing St. Patrick's day projects that have a shamrock on them.  I chose to make a simple card using the Designer's Calendar Cricut cartridge. This went together really quickly, which is one of the reasons that I LOVE my Cricut!! :-) Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to check out EXPLORING CRICUT 's other designers to see what they created for this challenge and THEN don't forget to link up your St. Patrick's day creation too!  TOMORROW, I'll be sharing one of my first projects with my new Cricut Explore machine!! I just LOVE this machine and can't wait to tell you about it!

Let's have a Beach Party...... Oh, I wish!!

Hello everyone! Are you ready for our weekly challenge over at  EXPLORING CRICUT ? This week, if you want to play along, you can use any Cricut cartridge with at least 2 cuts, the color blue and a patterned paper.  You have until Saturday, Feb. 1st @ 10:00 pm EST to link up your own project for us all to see!  Here is what I came up with for my project.  Since we are currently in the middle of lots and lots of snow and extremely low temperatures, I chose to make a Beach Party invitation! It's just wishful thinking at this point, but I can dream, can't I?? :-) I used the Life Is A Beach Cricut cartridge and used the card feature. I used my white gel pen to add more interest to my card.  Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to link up your own creation and play along! Go to  EXPLORING CRICUT  to join us!

Be sure to stop by these blogs as there are always new and wonderful things going on! :-) In November, we made a major move from Texas to Ohio to be with our families, namely our grand boys! :-) I am staying super busy with the babies so I haven't got everything situated in my craft area like I want quite yet so I chose a simple, yet useful project to start of my year of crafting! I made "We've Moved" cards to send to our friends and family so they have a special way to remember our new address. \ Card Recipe: Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge - page 24 card, c...

Cooking with Cricut Challenge # 79 - MAKE ME LAUGH

Here it is, another fun Wednesday challenge over at  COOKING WITH CRICUT  ! This week's challenge is to make something incorporating April Fool's Day, a funny quote, pun or saying! The projects that we on the design team have already done should put a smile on your face! :-) I made a fun twist on a birthday greeting: HIPPO BIRDIE TWO EWE!  I don't remember where I saw this saying, but I immediately thought that I could make a card using this saying and Create a Critter! Hope you smiled while reading this today and be sure to head on over to  COOKING WITH CRICUT  to view the other funny projects and to link up your own!  Thanks for stopping by today and don't forget to smile! :-)

Filled Heart Pocket Card

Well, it's almost Valentine's Day so I came up with a different kind of card this year! I thought it would be fun to make a 3-D pocket on the front of a card with little hearts popping out of it!   I used the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge from Close To My Heart - you know, the cartridge with so much awesomeness on it!!! :-)  The papers and embellishments are from the Club Ruby Designers February kit.  If you are not familiar with Club Ruby and would like to be, click  HERE! This is the finished card! The recipe is as follows: Start with a 4.25" x 11" piece of Kraft card stock. Score and fold in half to make a 4.25" x 5.5" card. Cut a mat for the front of the card sized at 3 7/8" x 5 1/8". I rounded the corners of the mat and the card base.  Using the Art Philosophy cartridge, cut the Font layer shift on page 26 at 4.65" and assemble as shown. Mount the heart to the front of the card. Wrinkle up a small piece of tissue paper - I used pink ...
