Craft with Cutters Challenge #137 - Any cartridge that starts with the letter "S"

Hello everyone! Wednesday's challenge over at CRAFT WITH CUTTERS  was to use any cartridge that starts with "S". My post didn't get completed until today because, for some reason, I couldn't get any pics to upload through Blogger! It finally worked!!  I chose to celebrate summer with a summer layout!  I created my page using the Summer Vacation seasonal cartridge and the Pack Your Bags cartridge. Hope everyone is having a great start to your summer! Mine is packed full of activities but I'm loving it! Hope you found time to hop over to  CRAFT WITH CUTTERS  to see other fun projects made using lots of different Cricut cartridges!

Cooking with Cricut Challenge #101 - Where Did Summer Go?

Welcome to another challenge Wednesday here and over at  COOKING WITH CRICUT ! This week's challenge is asking the question, "Where did Summer Go?" Doesn't it always go by way too fast?? This is a mini book made with A2 envelopes and cards that we made in a kids papercrafting class that I taught before the kids went back to school.  It's a great way for them to document all of their many summer memories and pics! You need 8 cards and 8 envelopes and various cardstock colors and stickers depending on your theme. I used the Tags, Bags, Boxes and more cartridge for the tags throughout my book and George and Basic Shapes for the mats on the envelope and card fronts. I will be posting a full tutorial soon with all the details of sizes and such. (I am currently out of state at my daughter's house as she just had a new baby so I am pretty busy being Mom and Grandma!) :-) Here are more pics of the inside pages and inserts: ...

Cooking with Cricut - Challenge #92 It's Hot Outside!!

Happy Summer, everyone!! Whew! Here in Texas, it's HOT!!! Like 106 degrees, HOT! Welcome to another challenge Wednesday at  COOKING WITH CRICUT  ! Today's theme is all about celebrating fun things to do in and around water! I chose to do a two-page layout to feature pics from a trip to the Water Park.  I used the H20 seasonal cricut cartridge.  This cartridge is a fantastic summer cartridge! Here are my completed layouts: Now for some close-ups and more details! I cut the water slide at 11.59" which is what my Cricut sized it to when I did fit-to-page. The bottom layer is blue Coordinations canvas texture card stock and the top layer is Coordinations glitter paper.  You will notice throughout these layouts that it appears that there is water splashed on the pages...... that is CTMH's Liquid Glass! I love that stuff!!! It is the perfect product for this project!! If you don't have a CTMH consultant, and would like to purchase this product or any ...

This month our hop theme is all about Birthdays and one special one in mind. Our wonderful DT Coordinator Jen Hudson’s birthday just happened to fall on Saturday so we decided to make birthday inspired projects with a “Jen” theme in mind. Our go to gal is a die-hard Florida Gator Fan. So we decided to use elements on our projects that reflected Our GATOR FOR LIFE Gal’s FANCY;  Florida, The Florida Gators and anything that would make you think of the Sunshine State. Jen is the last on our blog line up so be sure to hop through and leave her some extra special love at the end! When I think of The Sunshine State, I think of vacation so ...
