Crafter's Choice Challenge over at Exploring Cricut and More!

Welcome to another challenge over at  EXPLORING CRICUT AND MORE ! This challenge is all about you, the crafter! You can choose to do any sort of project - just include a patterned paper and a plain paper! The possibilities are endless! I chose an elegant "LOVE" card! I used the Storybook Cricut cartridge for the purple decorative corner on the front. "Love" is a rub-on and I used some gem brads and Stickles to bling it up a bit! Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to check out  EXPLORING CRICUT AND MORE  for lots more inspiration for this challenge!

Christmas Tag Swap 2013

Happy Thursday, everyone! Today I am sharing the tags I made for our Sassy Designers tag swap this past Christmas! I'm also sharing them over at SHE'S A SASSY LADY  because it's my turn over there!  I had planned on posting this months ago but it has been a crazy couple of months, with moving into a new house and starting a new job! At any rate, here is a pic of the finished tags and then I'll share some step-by-step pics. Cricut cartridges used: Tags, Bags, Boxes and More 2 - Tag, 6.25"H CTMH Artbooking ----> ornament overlay- 5.12"H,  ornament medallion - 2"H,  and snowflake - 1.75"H Here are the tag and overlay cuts before adhering them together. I stamped my blog stamp and signed the back of each one before finishing them so I wouldn't mess anything up on the other side. :-) Here is a trick I used to get an even coating of adhesive for the glitter to adhere to. I ran my tags through the Xyron sticker maker, ...

I LOVE my Cricut Explore machine!!

Hello everyone! Welcome to Terrific Tuesday here and over at EXPLORING CRICUT and MORE ! Today I am sharing one of my first projects made with my new Cricut Explore machine! I am so loving it and can see so many fun possibilities ahead!! For those of you who may not know, the Cricut Explore is a new machine from Provo Craft designed to work with the online design software called Cricut Design Space.  The calendar project that I am featuring here, is one of many free projects available there! The simplicity of just hooking your machine to your computer and clicking go is truly a reality! I will do my best to explain what I mean and I apologize, in advance, if my pictures just don't do it justice! :-)  Here are a few pics of what I made and then I have a few pics I took during the process and even a video of this amazing machine writing out the calendar numbers! (Actually, I couldn't get the video to post so I'll have to add that to this post when I get that figured out!) ...
