Today I am showcasing a tag that I made for a tag swap back in December. I chose to use all purple and used glitter and gems to bling it up!
Now to break down the process I used to create these tags:
I used TBBM 2 for the kraft paper tag and inked the edges with a purple ink.
I chose lots of shimmery purple papers!
Here is the tag cut out with the solid layer and the filigree layer that was cut from Paper Lace.
The filigree layer up close. I just ran these through the xyron sticker maker to adhere them to the solid layer.
Since the sticker maker sometimes leaves some sticky residue, I used it to my advantage by adding some glitter in those spots!
I apparently don't have a pic of the snowflake by itself so here it is on the finished tag. This snowflake is cut from the CTMH Artiste cartridge, as is the little label in the middle of it. I finished the tag off with some bling on the edges of the snowflake and some ribbon! I made 15 of these tags and had so much fun doing them! Here are a few more pics and close-ups:
