My Blessings Book

This is a super easy mini album that you can make in an evening!  All you need is blank cards and envelopes. Adhere the flaps to the back of each envelope, cut the cards in half and decorate and embellish as desired!  (The cards become inserts for the envelope pockets!)  This is an easy project to personalize!  If you have any questions about this project, be sure to leave me a comment! By the way, for my fellow cricut users, I used the Lyrical Letters cartridge for the title on the front.

This is beautiful - sure doesnt look easy!! Would love directions if you are so inclined!! Thank you for sharing - I put you on my favorites list so keep on creating!!!!
Shawn, I am more than happy to share directions!! Just decide how many pages (pockets) you want your album to have and use that many envelopes. Cut the cards that go in the envelopes in half so you have two cards for each envelope (if you want to use both). Simply adhere the envelope flaps to the back of another and keep building from there. Then after you have embellished the pockets and decorated the cards, fold it accordion style with the top flap coming over the bottom envelope. I hope this explains it better for you. If you need some pics of what I'm talking about, just let me know and I'll try to get some posted for you. Have a great day!

Be My Valentine Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to the "Be My Valentine" blog hop!! There are even some blogs that have blog candy - (like ME!)  After you check out my project, your next stop will be  Crafty Baskets  . Now, on to my project!! I made a box to put a set of Valentine's cards in. I used a 12x12 piece of double-sided cardstock from K and Co. The cards are made with Kraft paper and are a 4x4 size. I used the Cricut Sentimentals cartridge for the postage stamp cut on the front of each card and used my Gypsy to cut them so I could unlink the H and W so it would be 3.75" square. The valentine cuts for the fro...

She is our wonderful host for this hop!  On to my project: I decided to make a Spring mini album to showcase a few pictures that I took at the Zilker Botanical Gardens in Austin, TX.  What is more telling of Spring than flowers?!   I used the Card/Tag feature on the Paisley Cricut cartridge and used paper from the DCWV Spring cardstack. (I think this stack was from last year or maybe even the year before! :-) I'm just finally using it! )  The paper flowers throughout are from the 3 Birds Pretty Petals collection.  Read to the end of this post to find the link for the next blog to hop to and for my ...
