Recipe Album Gift and Card

I made this recipe album for our soon-to-be daughter-in-law's shower. It is a flip album from 7 Gypsies. The scrapbook kit was one I found at Archiver's called Recipe Time. The charms were a Karen Foster Design item.  I cut recipe cards from the From My Kitchen cartridge and stamped some of them with the "What's for Dinner?" stamp set from Stampin' Up.

A Mini Book for a Young Friend

First, let me say that I'm sorry in advance for not rotating these pics before I uploaded them!  Hopefully no one will get a sore neck looking at these pics!  :-)  I made this mini album for a friend. I cut the tag from the Beyond Birthdays cricut cartridge.     I bought the blank, green chipboard album at my LSS in Tiffin, OH before we moved to Texas.  The name "JOY" was cut from the Lyrical Letters cricut cart. The ticket stamps on the inside was from a Close to My Heart stamp set called Just the Ticket. I love this set - I guess that's why I took a picture of each completed stamp! :-)  The ticket I stamped on was cut from Fabulous Finds, as was the mini library pocket. The checklist was also a CTMH stamp set called "Checklist". I used some misc. rub-ons to embellish the pages.

Mother's Day Mini Book

This is the cover of a chipboard book that I made for my Mom last Mother's Day.  I forgot to take pics of the inside pages so maybe in a later post, I'll do that.

7 Gypsies Photo Carousel Birthday Calendar

I crafted this carousel for my husband's parents for Christmas '08.  He has a large family, (57 people just between his brothers and sisters, their spouses and children), so I put dividers in for the months and each person has a card and it is filed behind the month of their birthday!  The front of each monthly divider has a tag in a pocket that lists each person that has a birthday that month!  I didn't get inspired to do this project until 2 weeks before Christmas and I had to order the carousel so I didn't get started until 4 days before our family Christmas!  I was scrapping like crazy! It was like doing 57 different mini page layouts because I didn't want any of them to look the same!  They loved it so mission accomplished!  Whew!!

Some misc. Past Projects

I made this Welcome sign using a Creative Memories Everyday Display board and the Jubilee Cricut Cartridge. It measures about 18x18. These little library pockets were cut from the Fabulous Finds Cricut Cartridge.  I used clear vellum for the pocket insert. I made this purse with the Forever Young Cricut cartridge and made some 3x3 notecards to tuck inside. The purses on this cartridge are so much fun to make!!

Custom wedding invites for our son's wedding

My daughter and I created these custom wedding invitations for my son's, (her brother's) wedding in December!  We made our daughter's invites last year and they were way more detailed than these, so these were much easier! I used my Gypsy and my cricut to cut out all the panels and created and welded their names for the back of the invitation!  That made it soooo much easier!  I used the Ultimate Crafter's Companion for the base invitation - so easy and elegant!  Hope you enjoy looking at these!  If you would like more detailed information, feel free to leave me a comment!

Cricut Snow Friends

My Cricut and I love to create many fun creations, such as these Snow Friends from one of the new seasonal limited edition cricut cartridges called Snow Friends!  These were so much fun to make and I got to use my new Gypsy to make the process quick and easy! They were all cut at 4.37"H.

My Blessings Book

This is a super easy mini album that you can make in an evening!  All you need is blank cards and envelopes. Adhere the flaps to the back of each envelope, cut the cards in half and decorate and embellish as desired!  (The cards become inserts for the envelope pockets!)  This is an easy project to personalize!  If you have any questions about this project, be sure to leave me a comment! By the way, for my fellow cricut users, I used the Lyrical Letters cartridge for the title on the front.
