A Love Story Begins......

Happy Thursday, everyone! I'm here to share a unique wedding album I made last week for a beautiful bride for her shower! It's also my turn to share over at SHE'S A SASSY LADY  so hop over there to see all kinds of great inspiration every day! I began with a blank mixed media Collection Folio from Tim Holtz and took off from there! These books are so fun to work with because you can really let your imagination go crazy! The size of this one is a little larger than 8.5'x11' and is just perfect to tuck all sorts of wonderful things in!  The front cover. One of my favorite parts is the little saying I put inside the front flap! :-)  Pics of the inside - so much to see! :-)  I attached journaling cards to tags and then adhered them in the folio as pages. The tickets I used are also Tim Holtz and I simply crumpled them up and flattened them out before adhering them to give them a distressed look.  ...

My Card Class

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing this same post over at  SHE'S A SASSY LADY . Be sure to stop over there daily to see all the crafting inspiration that goes on there!!  Recently I introduced a card class that I am offering in my home and I thought I would share the 3 types of cards here. I kept the designs simple to make it easy for participants to assemble. I'm keeping some of these cards on hand for when I need a quick card!  In my class, participants will be making 5 of each card. Thank You, Get Well and Happy Birthday. This is one of my favorite cards because the embossed layer gets ripped and then adhered with the Cricut bandages adhered on top of that! Isn't it fun?? The birthday cards are fun because I picked 5 different colors for the stamped layer and added an embossed layer. I think the participants will have fun learning these simple but impressive techniques!  If anyone local to me would like to take this class, please get in to...

Valentine's Mugs

Happy Thursday, everyone! I'm here to share a few Valentine's mugs I have made! Some I have sold and some I have given to friends and family! I also shared these mugs over at She's a Sassy Lady ! Be sure to stop over there daily because there is always so much crafty inspiration! I am so hooked on doing vinyl on mugs and the possibilities are really endless! I've made lots more but here are just a few of my favorites! This set is one of my favorites!  For anyone who doesn't know what the "TLA" is, it means True Love Always! :-)  Short and sweet today! Thanks so much for stopping by today!  Java Jen

Lora is 1!

Hi everyone!! I just wanted to share a quick post showing something I made for our granddaughter's 1st Birthday! I made a Birthday Statistics Board using a chalkboard and vinyl! I will definitely be making more of these! So much fun! This project is also featured on the  SHE'S A SASSY LADY  blog today. Be sure to check out her blog for lots of crafty inspiration!! ! The stats were written with a permanent chalk marker but could also be written with regular chalk so that it would be able to be erased.  And here she is in all her beauty!! Doing her princess wave with Papa, (my husband) holding her! :-) I pray that everyone has a blessed day!
